Wendy Hudson.
HR CONSULTANT
Wendy Hudson brings heart, strategy, and a people-first mindset to her role as HR Consultant at Chief of Staff. With a strong background in HR and organizational development, she thrives on solving complex workplace challenges. Whether it’s shaping culture, coaching leaders, or building smarter hiring and onboarding strategies, she loves it all. Wendy enjoys the variety and critical thinking her role offers, but what drives her most is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both businesses and individuals. She finds true fulfillment in helping companies create positive, innovative environments where people can thrive.
“Working with Wendy and Chief of Staff has been incredible. I clearly outlined what I was looking for in my next opportunity and she made sure all my needs were met. Would highly recommend working with them if you are a perspective client and if you’re lucky you’ll get to work with Wendy. I couldn’t express enough how pleased I am with my new role and company.”

Born and raised in Kansas City, Wendy has called KC home her whole life, aside from a chapter in Manhattan, Kansas, while attending Kansas State University (go Wildcats!). She’s deeply connected to her community and gives her time to causes she believes in, including Junior Achievement, which helps kids build real-life skills; Women’s Employment Network (WEN), which empowers women in the workplace; and WAGS, a dog rescue that speaks to her love for animals.
When she’s not working, Wendy is happiest outside, soaking up nature, spending time with family and friends, and hanging with her dog. She brings that same energy and care to her work at COS, showing up every day with a focus on people, progress, and building strong relationships that move companies forward.
