Troy Williams.

SENIOR TALENT SCOUT

Troy Williams is naturally curious about people and the work that keeps Kansas City moving forward. That’s exactly what drew him to recruiting at Chief of Staff. His favorite part of the job is getting a behind-the-scenes look at the companies shaping the city he grew up in. One placement he’s especially proud of involved matching a longtime COS partner with a new COO who’s already made a major impact on their organization.

“The thing I love about COS is getting to learn about the really interesting work and people who are working in KC. It connects with my professional passions as someone who was born & raised here; it’s fun to drive down Ward Parkway on my way to work and see companies that we partner with!” -Troy Williams

Troy Williams Senior Talent Scout

“Cari and Troy presented me with potential roles that perfectly matched my skill set. Thanks to their efforts, I landed an incredible position within an amazing organization that boasts top talent at all levels. I highly recommend partnering with the Chief of Staff team for your personal job search or as a talent acquisition resource seeking great talent.”

– Neftali A., VP of Operations (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Troy was born in Smithville, Missouri, and has lived all over the KC area, from Liberty to the heart of downtown. He earned his degree in Political Science from William Jewell College but found his professional rhythm in the world of recruiting and relationship-building. He’s always had a heart for service and recently got involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, after previously spending time working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri and Kansas. Giving back and staying connected to the community has always been important to him.

When he’s not working, Troy’s usually outside. He’s big on hiking, fishing, and pretty much any sport he can jump into, whether it’s soccer, golf, or a competitive pickleball match with his girlfriend. He’s also all about time with friends and family, finding the balance between laid-back weekends and staying active. For Troy, it all ties back to relationships, whether on the field, around a firepit, or in the office.
