Timbre Leeks.
DIVISION MANAGER
Timbre began her career in recruiting in 2016 with Chief of Staff KC. In 2018, she left to complete her bachelor’s degree and prioritize her family. Fast forward, with a bachelor’s degree and three children, she is back in business and loving every second! Timbre understands how stressful it can be to find a new job or hire a new employee and she is passionate about making people feel comfortable, valued, and hopeful during their search. “My job allows me to do that every single day while moving at a fast pace and offering me a variety of responsibilities.”
“I had a wonderful experience with Timbre! I won’t lie, I was a little hesitant on COS being a staffing agency due to some sketchy previous experiences, but Timbre was prompt and very attentive to what I was looking for. She was super helpful to finding me a job when I needed it most, and helped me figure out that a temporary position was not for me, and with some patience, found the perfect full time position for me! I cannot recommend Timbre and COS enough with the efforts to matching people with the perfect jobs!!”
– Leslie O., Accounts Payable Clerk (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)
Timbre was born in Joplin, Missouri, and grew up in nearby Carl Junction before moving to Kansas City right after high school. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University through a satellite program while building a life and career in KC. She started out living downtown and gradually moved south as her family grew. Now, she stays active in her kids’ school and daycare communities and is a member of KCEA, a support network of executive assistants who uplift one another both professionally and personally. Timbre and her family also support Operation Breakthrough, a cause close to their hearts.
Outside of work, Timbre’s life is full, in the best way. She loves taking her daughters to explore new parks, going on date nights with her husband to try new restaurants or catch a comedy show, and spending time outdoors playing games or volleyball. She’s also big on journaling, card games, reading, and brunch with friends. Whether it’s a family movie night or a brand new adventure, she’s all in, and brings that same joy and balance to her work at COS.
