VICE PRESIDENT
Lisa Acree brings intention, heart, and over fifteen years of expertise to her work as Vice President at Chief of Staff. With a background rooted in marketing and international business, she has always approached her career with both a strategic mindset and a people-first attitude. She’s proud to be in a role where her work makes a direct impact, whether that’s supporting internal growth, helping a candidate transform their career, or guiding a client toward the perfect hire. For Lisa, the magic lies in creating environments where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to reach their potential.
As a lifetime learner, she loves getting to know her clients and candidates. She’s passionate about making the right long-term fit for both employers and employees.
“Working with Chief of Staff KC was effortlessly wonderful. Their staff knew all of the right questions to ask, and they paired me with multiple organizations, all of which I found to be interesting and productive potential opportunities. The position that I eventually accepted through Chief of Staff was a perfect fit. I couldn’t be happier.”

Born and raised in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Lisa earned her double major in Marketing and International Business from Missouri State University, with a Spanish minor and a study abroad chapter in San José, Costa Rica. Her career took her to Tulsa early on, but Kansas City called her back, and she’s been here ever since. Today, she gives back through her involvement with WEN (Women’s Employment Network) as part of their Legacy Circle and luncheon committee, and she serves on the Membership Committee for SHRM, connecting with others who share her passion for leadership and workplace culture.
Outside the office, Lisa is always moving, whether it’s running, biking, hiking, or swimming with her family in their backyard. She loves being outdoors, exploring new places, learning about new cultures and creating memories through travel and adventure. For her, balance means staying active, staying curious, and making space for both big goals and everyday joy.
