Born in Yankton, South Dakota, Charlie spent his whole life in nearby Vermillion before making the move to Kansas City. His education took him well beyond the Midwest along the way: one semester studying in New Hampshire and another living and learning in Rome, Italy, experiences that broadened his perspective and fed his curiosity for new places and ways of life. He graduated Cum Laude while balancing two semesters at different schools, multiple jobs, and a full slate of extracurriculars.
When he’s not working, Charlie stays active by working out, playing and watching sports, and spending time with friends and loved ones. A lifelong fan of the Vikings, Lakers, and Indiana Hoosiers basketball, he loves anything competitive. He’s also a traveler at heart, with a curiosity for new places that keeps him exploring. Lately that’s meant getting to know Kansas City one neighborhood, restaurant, and scenic spot at a time, a city he’s quickly growing to love.
